My journey to become a complementary therapist came later in my working life and followed many years spent in a range of healthcare roles. My main area of practice was as a health visitor but I have also worked as a midwife, a nurse both in the community and in acute hospitals and later in my career as a nurse educator. I now fully appreciate the importance of investing in yourself and your health and well-being at every stage of life.
I bring to my complementary therapy practice a wealth of knowledge, skills and insights gained from my previous roles which all placed emphasis on person centred care. I feel privileged as a complementary therapist to be able to spend time with my clients on a one-to-one basis and to tailor treatments to meet their individual needs.
I am fully committed to extending and further developing my knowledge and skills on an ongoing basis particularly in my areas of specialist interest of the Menopause and working with individuals who have long term health conditions.
